Tom Cipullo's 1st opera Glory Denied: The Saga of Jim Thompson, America's Longest-Held Prisoner of War. Based on Tom Philpott’s book, Glory Denied, the opera was first performed in concert with piano by the Center for Contemporary Opera, then as a staged version with orchestra by the Brooklyn College Opera Theater. Composer Tom Cipullo chose the cast himself for the professional New York City premiere of the full production with RTB, brilliantly directed by Joachim Schamberger. Christian and Monica went to Natchez to run the Educational Outreach Program for Natchez Festival of Music. We did G Train The Musical for kids and the success of the program won us an invitation to return with HOUSE. |

Monica and Christian in concert again. We performed an entire concert of Christian’s vocal and piano music with special guest George Brunner, composer. Christian and Monica performed George’s Three Japanese Songs and numerous songs and arias of Christian’s. George ran sound for Monica’s performance of his 3 Goddesses from The Tempest Project. Christian brought the house down with his performance of his work Carnival and everyone left wanting more. |

RTB was hired by Electronic Music New York (EM-NY) for the spectacular production, The Tempest Project. RTB’s artists Julia Amisano, Monica Harte, Gretchen Mundinger, Christian McLeer, Vern Woodhead and Joseph Mayon created the roles for the world premiere of this electroacoustic drama directed by Julia Amisano. |
