Remarkable Theater Brigade introduced itself to New York in February of 2003 with After Hours, its first production. The show was a collaborative work written by the cast, director and composer. The musical ghost story was well received and was interwoven with the music of Christian McLeer and well-known standards of Opera, Broadway and Pop. We were thrilled to open at the Lion Theater on 42nd street, just west of Time Square. |

Hansel and Gretel was RTB’s first outreach show. The original two performances were done at the Lion Theater on 42nd Street, free of charge, for families and school administrators. Then it was taken to schools that participated in the Pennies Program for the Leukemia Society and to special-needs and at-risk schools. This was an original production of the classic opera by Humperdinck with a new English translation, costumes and set design. |

At the end of the 2002/2003 season, RTB was featured in a concert series in Reno, Nevada called The Back Porch Concert Series. The series takes place on an immense and beautiful patio belonging to one of Reno’s patrons of the arts. Christian and Monica performed over an hour’s worth of Christian’s music and received an amazing response from a variety of music aficionados. That concert led to our hugely successful extravaganza, Clearly McLeer produced by OnTrac Productions in Reno’s Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts. |
