2008 / 2009 SEASON

WELCOME TO RTB! Remarkable Theater Brigade (RTB) creates and produces productions of new works including orchestral, opera, ballet, musicals and electroacoustic works. RTB was founded by Christian McLeer, Monica Harte, and Dan Jeselsohn.  In our 7th Season we are bringing back G Train The Musical, which was a hit when RTB premiered it in 2004, and also last year when we brought it to the Natchez Festival of Music.

October 1, 2009
	OPERA SHORTS AT CARNEGIE HALL October 1, 2009 8:00 PM Thursday, October 1st we will present 10-minute operas at Weill-Carnegie Hall. Some of the composers writing for RTB include Seymour Barab, Tom Cipullo, Patrick Soluri, Rob Voisey, Anne Phillips,  George Brunner,  Ben Bierman and of course, Christian McLeer.

	OPERA GROWS IN BROOKLYN MARCH 20, 2009 8:00 PM RTB, American Opera Project, and Opera On Tap will come together for OPERA GROWS IN BROOKLYN, an evening of new opera scenes and songs by contemporary composers.  RTB will present a 20 minute version of G Train, the Musical, Christian McLeer's nationally acclaimed hit Electro-Acoustical-Oprusical!

NO SHIRTS NO SKIRTS NO SERVICE & Other Short Operas & Scenes Brooklyn College Levenson Hall: April 3, 2009 7:00 PM Jimmy's No. 43: April 4, 2009 7:00 PM Come to RTB's festival of Musical Vignettes celebrating the winners of RTB's Composition Competition.  These 10-minute scenes will feature RTB's young professional artists.  Experience the incredible music and drama of today's emerging composers! Produced in collaboration with Brooklyn College Conservatory of Music. 	COMPOSER'S VOICE CONCERT SERIES The second season of the Composer's Voice Concert Series is off to a great start.  On October 26th  RTB, Vox Novus and Jan Hus Church will feature the Cadillac Moon Ensemble.  Join us at Jan Hus Church, 351 E. 74th Street between 1st and 2nd Avenue at 1:00 PM for this free concert!

NOVEMBER 18, 2008 AT ROULETTE RTB presents the new music of RTB, Vox Novus and Electronic Music New York (EMNY).  This concert features new works by Christian McLeer, Rob Voisey, George Brunner, Patrick Soluri, Anne Phillips, and Ben Bierman. This concert will also feature compositions by the winners of the Emerging Composers Vocal Composition Competition co-sponsored by RTB, EMNY and Brooklyn College.
